Thank you to all those who entered last month's story competiton.

Unfortunately some very good stories have more than 500 words so are disqualified. Stories already submitted may be resubmitted in future months with some editing to qualify them.

Keep writing your stories about yourself and Emily, Amy, Jasmine and Belle. Remember to keep them short and interesting. Funny is always good too.

Congratulations to Imogen 11 Queensland,
from the Australian Girl Team!

This is her story...

“LIFESAVER’ JAS TO THE RESCUE!

“Lifesaver’ Jas to the Rescue! “Oh No!” screamed Jasmine “What?” Said Emily. “The Christmas Carols have been cancelled because Andre the lead violinist broke his hand I really don’t know what to do,” replied Jasmine. “Well how about you play his part,” suggested Emily “Well I will have to ask Mum then we could ride to his hotel,” said Jasmine.

So they went to go and ask.

“She said yes, Mum really said yes!” said Jasmine overjoyed. “That’s great let’s go straight away,” said Emily “Should we take something to eat because I’m already starving,” said Jasmine

So the girls packed a lunch of peanut butter and jam sandwiches and a few apples. Then off they went to the hotel. But when they arrived they were in trouble.

“The hotel isn’t letting anyone in,” said Jasmine grumpily. “Well let’s go round the back,” suggested Emily. “But there are guards everywhere,” said Jasmine. “How about we dress up as hotel staff?” said Emily jokingly. “You know what that’s a good idea,” said Jasmine. “No I didn’t mean it,” said Emily So they went to a costume shop and bought hotel staff outfits “Wow we look a whole lot older, we even look like real staff members,” said Emily.

Finally the girls where inside the hotel. “We had better find Andre’s room,” said Emily. “I’m guessing it’s that one I can hear violins,” said Jasmine. Sure enough they walked right in to his room. “It’s okay I have already eaten,” he said. “Oh we haven’t taken off our outfits,” whispered Jasmine So they took off their disguises. “Sorry girls I can’t give any autographs, and how did you get in?” questioned Andre. “That’s a long story,” said Jasmine giggling. “Anyway Jasmine was wondering if she could play your part in the Christmas Carols, she plays the violin too!” said Emily. “You’re a lifesaver of course you can,” replied Andre. As soon as they were back home she got practicing, then a week later her mum called “Jasmine it’s time to go.” “Coming,” chorused Jasmine and Emily. They were on their way to the concert and Jasmine was so nervous. “Oh Boy now I’m not even sure I want to do this anymore,” Jasmine nervously said. “You can’t give up now just relax, I know you can do it.” Emily said deeply trusting her friend. “Jasmine.” It was Andre. “Hi, how’s your hand,” asked Jasmine “A lot better,” replied Andre.

Then an announcement came over the loud speaker. “We’ll be starting in 2 minutes,” boomed the voice “Well I had better go,” said Jasmine “Good luck,” chorused Emily and Andre.

Soon they were starting, then before they knew it the concert was over. The show was so entertaining.

Once Jasmine had finished she spotted Andre so she ran to him. “Hi Andre how did I do?” asked Jasmine. “You were terrific,” replied Andre. “So I’d like to give you this new violin,” said Andre. “Thank-you so much, this has been the best day ever,” said Jasmine excitedly.
